Unhappily Ever Now is the first solo project to be released by Cleopatra Records (Green Jelly) songwriter Stephen Watson. While Stephen's work with Green Jelly contributing to that band's upcoming Cleopatra Records album, Garbage Band Kids, aligns with the classic, carefree humor and approach of previous Green Jelly releases, his work on Unhappily Ever Now takes a drastic turn towards a much more serious, brooding, and critical outlook on the human condition through intense expressions of emotive hard rock.
