Somewhat experienced musician, new bass player looking to start playing with other folks in need of one. Plenty of experience in HS/College playing jazz gigs on trumpet. Players around my age preferred, but I'll do my best to hold down the low end for whoever can take me. I've got limited transportation as of right now so I'll either need a spare amp to plug into or to bum a ride (I'll pay for gas obviously).

Influences
I'm a big fan of post-punk, funk, jazz, afrobeat and anything in between. Favorite groups/artists include Talking Heads, Fela Kuti and the Afrika 70, Minutemen, New Order, Sun Ra, Cymande, Coltrane, Sly & The Family Stone, Au Pairs. Mike Watt was my biggest inspiration for getting into bass.
