I am 53, retired and I have been playing bass for 35 yeas. Pro attitude, pro chops and pro gear and looking for the same types of musicians to form or join to see where things end up. If I were to some things up. I am looking for the right drummer, guitarist and keyboard player in an effort to put something together that will require some Brass in the near future. Players interested must have a strong understanding of groove, funk (Old School), and rock (Classic, Southern). I am looking for one night a week for rehearsals (location TBD) until we are gig ready and then a possible four gigs a month to follow. As for the guitarist I am looking for classic equipment tone (strat,tele,les paul, SG, etc.). The ideal keyboard player would be capable of soloing and have great understanding of funk, soul, and rock sounds (B3, Rhodes, Clav, etc.). A drummer must have a strong jazz, funk and rock background.
